About This Webinar
Every council IT manager has a story. A project that ran over budget. A vendor that overpromised. A rollout that divided the organisation. A digital transformation that delivered, and the quiet, unglamorous decisions that made it work.
The problem is most of those stories never get told in public.
This webinar changes that.
On 23 July, Symphony3 brings together two of Australia's most experienced local government technology consultants for an unfiltered, hour-long conversation about what actually happens on the front line of council IT projects. Exploring what succeeds, what fails, and what every IT manager needs to know before they start.
Chris Weber (LG Outcomes) and Simon Adcock (LG Technology Solutions) have between them decades of hands-on experience inside Australian councils, as executives, CIOs, program leads, and turnaround specialists. They've seen the full spectrum: award-winning transformations and programs that needed rescuing. They've been in the room when the vendor signed and when the board asked hard questions. They know local government from the inside.
This isn't a sales pitch. It's a front-row seat to the kind of honest, experience-grounded conversation that usually only happens behind closed doors.

About the Speakers
Chris Weber Management Consultant, LG Outcomes
Chris Weber is a management consultant at LG Outcomes with a career built entirely within and around Australian local government. He has held senior roles across a range of councils, including Director of Corporate and Governance at Tamworth Regional Council, where he oversaw information services for six years before stepping into executive leadership. He has also served in roles with Liverpool Plains Shire Council, Uralla Shire Council, and Walcha Council, giving him an unusually broad perspective across regional and rural councils of different scales and operating environments.
His experience spans business analysis, stakeholder management, risk management, and business process improvement - the full range of disciplines that determine whether an IT project lands well or doesn't. At LG Outcomes, he works with councils to translate complex change into practical outcomes.
Simon Adcock Founder, LG Technology Solutions (LGTS)
Simon Adcock founded LG Technology Solutions after 25 years working inside local government and alongside councils in senior executive roles. His career has spanned positions including CIO, Chief Customer Officer, Chief Operations Officer, and Director of Corporate Services, across both metropolitan and regional councils, giving him a whole-of-council perspective that is genuinely rare in the technology consulting market.
LGTS provides independent, hands-on support across ICT, digital strategy, and technology change, working directly with CIOs, Directors, and senior leaders to stabilise core systems, deliver complex projects, and build internal capability. The firm is completely vendor-agnostic, focused solely on what is right for each council.
Over his career, Simon has led award-winning digital and CRM transformation programs, redesigned customer-facing services at scale, and delivered measurable improvements in service accessibility, staff productivity, and financial sustainability. He has been accountable for major technology procurements and vendor performance, which directly shapes how he now helps councils cut through vendor marketing, ask the right questions, and make confident investment decisions. He has also stabilised programs that needed experienced leadership to get back on track.
What sets Simon apart is the combination of deep technology expertise and genuine business depth. Most technology consultants are technology people; most council business leaders are not. Simon is both and that combination is what councils need most when the stakes are high.
LG Technology Solutions is an approved supplier through the Local Government Contracts Australia (LGCA) panel.
