In government, Salesforce is used to manage interactions with residents, automate service requests and permits, run case management workflows, and report on service performance. The company has offices across Australia including Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, with a dedicated public sector team serving local, state, and federal government clients.

The Victorian Government renewed its whole-of-government contract with Salesforce in June 2025, covering agencies across health, energy, and justice.
