Symphony3 is a Melbourne-based technology company founded in 2011 that works exclusively with local government councils across Australia and New Zealand. The company delivers council websites, digital forms, integration, and builds AI products that automate and connect council operations. Symphony3's flagship product, SmartGlue, is an integration platform purpose-built for local government with over 50 pre-built connectors to the systems councils already use, including every major ERP, CRM, document management, GIS, and field service platform in the sector.
For councils, SmartGlue solves one of the most persistent and costly problems in local government technology: the gap between systems. When a resident submits an online form, requests a service, or reports an issue, that information often has to be manually re-entered into the council's back-office systems by staff. SmartGlue eliminates that gap by routing data automatically between systems in real time. Symphony3 has integrated SmartGlue at councils such as: Murrindindi Shire Council, Strathbogie Shire Council, Singleton Council and more. Councils that have undergone digital transformations with Symphony3 include City of Greater Bendigo, Mansfield Shire Council, Golden Plains Shire Council and more.
SmartGlue is hosted on AWS, which has been assessed at the Protected level under the Australian Signals Directorate's security framework. Symphony3 presents regularly at Australian local government sector events including LGPro VIC, and is an active participant in the sector's digital transformation agenda.
