Granicus
Granicus is a US-based government experience platform that entered the Australian and New Zealand market through its acquisitions of two homegrown Australian companies: Bang the Table, the creator of EngagementHQ, the market-leading community engagement platform; and OpenCities, the digital customer journey platform working with local governments across Australia and New Zealand at the time of its acquisition. Combined under Granicus, these products form a connected platform that helps councils inform, engage, and serve their communities through modern digital experiences. Today, Granicus serves more than 350 councils and government organisations across Australia and New Zealand, operating from its ANZ headquarters in Carlton, Victoria. For local government, Granicus brings together council websites (OpenCities), digital forms and service delivery (OpenForms), and citizen communications and subscriptions (govDelivery) in one connected platform. Named council clients include Moreton Bay Regional Council, Frankston City Council, Byron Shire Council, and more. Granicus is hosted on AWS and holds ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications. The company holds a formal partnership with the Local Government Association of Queensland to support digital services for Queensland councils.
